What Is Degeneration?
Spinal degeneration refers to gradual structural changes in discs and joints over time. Discs can lose hydration and height. Joints can become arthritic. Surrounding tissues may stiffen or weaken.
This does not automatically mean surgery — but it does mean the area needs strategic support.
Degeneration becomes inflamed and symptomatic when instability, inflammation, and poor load distribution overload a vulnerable area.
Why Flare-Ups Keep Happening
Most chronic spine patients live in a cycle:
- Flare-up
- Rest or medication
- Temporary relief
- Return to activity
- Re-flare
Without improving stability and load tolerance, the same segment keeps getting stressed.
Our goal is to break that cycle by improving mechanical function and resilience.
